I had a home, that was mine
A castle so big
You could dance in every room
All the days of the week
All 24 hours of the day,
And you would never get through it
Completely
I had a love
So great
So powerful
So deep
That all the oceans in the world
Could never fill
All the forces
Could never tilt
Or break
Yes, I had a life
So full
Of laughter And Joy
So much happiness
That no rainy day
Could ever dim my Light
It shone so bright
That hope within me
The faith that I had in me
The will that I summoned so many times
To get through the day
The next day
The next year,
The next pain, the next disappointment
Until…
I buried all of that,
And I only claimed joy, and happiness in my life
And reclaimed my title
My position
Yes, I am a princess of light
Of this life
Ifkanolasha – The light of Life.
Beautiful....let me see I hope not to offend.
ReplyDeleteI dance that dance latenights in my dreams,
where streets are golden and skies are filled with rainbows unending,
I dance that dance in my dreams with my daughters,
precious they are,
brighter than quasars and pulsating stars-
I dance that dance in my dreams,
here all is possible, we play, we fly like superheroes, we chat and take over the world- ride bikes and eat cakes-
I dance that dance in my dreams....
till I wake to find them not so close-
I love it!!! It's beautiful, and I can see that you are a wonderful dad! And a creative genius! Keep shining.
